Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has neither succeeded or failed to run Bangladesh

Success or failure is difficult to describe in one sentence. However, the reason why the people of the country brought him to power was the extreme corruption of the previous government.

My question is has Uniki been able to reduce this corruption? The answer is "no". On the contrary, corruption is now rampant in every nook and cranny of the country. Another major reason for bringing him to power was to establish the democratic rights of the people. As she is the daughter of Bangabandhu, there was much more to expect from her. In 2008, the BNP Jamaat-e-Islami wanted to hold an election, but his party stopped it with extreme agitation.

After that there was a state of emergency in the country. In December 2006, people elected him with high hopes and dreams. The aim is to restore people's right to vote. What happened? In a word, 95% of the people in the country cannot vote now. What is the reason for this? The reason is very simple. When his party members go to the center, they do not allow anyone to vote. They themselves vote for everyone. Leaving the EVM machine out, he has to vote for his party candidate in front of everyone. For this reason, the people of Bangladesh have no interest in voting now. Proof of this is the 2014 and 2019 elections. Seen with my own eyes, every center was empty.

His party did worse than expected from opinion polls, which saw them at gaining about 151 seats. He came to power in 2019 by holding elections against his own opposition party. However, as he has weakened the political opposition in the country, there is a lot of peace in the country. No meeting procession, no trouble. It has an impact on people's personal lives. People can now go to work safely. Bangladesh has stopped being a least developed country and has become a developing country. He is building the Padma Bridge with many challenges. Apart from this, many developmental activities have been and are being carried out. Metro rail is coming to Dhaka.

But there is no control over commodity prices. There are syndicates in all the business sectors of the country. These cannot be controlled by the government. The power of different sectors of the country is more than the government. The bus owners' association and transport workers can force the government to act in their interest if they want. Corruption in the administration is beyond imagination. The media, the administration, the judiciary are all under the control of the party by putting their own people in all places. Good and evil go hand in hand. Absolutely can't be said to be successful, can't be said to be useless. There is a lot of discussion outside of the above discussion. You decide. thanks
